A New Era of Classic Design

We have long enjoyed the modern and easy-to-maintain low IFA edges of BLANCO’s steel sinks. Now, Collectis brings this feature to SILGRANIT sinks as well. The edge of the BLANCO Collectis sink is only 30 mm wide and 5 mm high, making the edges both modern and stylish, as well as easy to maintain. In addition to its stylish appearance, BLANCO Collectis is primarily an excellent choice for those who prepare large amounts of food and work at the sink. The genius of Collectis lies in its innovative approach to combining waste collection from food preparation on the sink with the sorting capabilities of the Select waste bin system.

A high-quality cutting board (accessory) optimally sits next to the multifunctional container, and for example, fruits can be easily peeled on the board, with the peels transferred to a nearby container. The container is easy to empty, or if only small amounts of waste are generated, it can be stored in a compatible Select, Select Orga, or Flexon II waste system. The multifunctional container also serves as a safe storage place for sharp vegetable and fruit knives when not in use. Behind the small sink, there is also a separate draining sink where liquids can be poured even if the large sink and multifunctional container are in use.
The Collectis sink made from SILGRANIT material is installed from above, leaving a stylish low edge on the countertop. Installation instructions can be found in the Installation and User Manual.

Available accessories

BLANCO Collectis includes a high-quality multifunctional container as a standard feature, which is suitable for use inside a small sink, on the countertop, or in conjunction with Select/Flexon waste systems. The container also includes a lid, allowing you to safely store sharp vegetable and fruit knives inside the container when it is placed inside the small sink. Similarly, when used for collecting organic waste, the lid prevents odors from spreading into the room. Both the container and the lid are easy to clean in the dishwasher.

A quality sink naturally requires high-quality accessories. The cutting board used with the Collectis sink is made of maple. The cutting board is both practical and stylish, resting securely on plastic feet. The bevel on the long side of the board ensures it fits optimally against the multifunctional container, making it easy to transfer waste from the board into the container. Due to its stylish design, the board can also be used as a serving tray on the dining table.
The waste systems compatible with the BLANCO Collectis sink are Select 60, Select 60 Orga, and Flexon II 60, with either a 15-liter or 30-liter bin. Examples of models can be found under the Accessories tab.

Silrganit material

The patent-protected SILGRANIT material combines ease of care, practicality and durability. BLANCO is constantly developing the material, and as a result of decades of development, the current sink material is pleasantly velvety. The main raw material of the sink material is finely crushed stone, which is about 80% of the mass. The grain size of the granite used is optimal to give, together with the binder, a natural stone-like surface. At the same time, however, it is smooth enough to make cleaning as easy as possible.

SILGRANIT is finished using the patented Hygiene+Plus protection. This unique recipe is integrated into the SILGRANIT material, giving it both protection against bacteria and a better dirt-repellent surface.
