FLEX-X – Stylish flush-mountable cooker hood

The new LAPETEK FLEX-X is a cabinet-mounted cooker hood with a slide-out control cap. The simple and timeless look goes well with various kitchen cabinets and is inconspicuous in all types of kitchens thanks to the built-in fan.

LAPETEK FLEX-X fits in 60 cm wide cabinets. The fan is easy to use from the slide-out control cap that turns diagonally to the front, and if necessary, it can be turned out of sight after cooking. In this way, the Soft Touch buttons can be used easily without bending under the cabinet.

LAPETEK FLEX-X is a balanced in all the ways, where in addition to good removal of the steams and the appearance, the use of it is also as pleasant as possible. Good lighting is ensured by rectangular LEDs (EC- and X3-models) that illuminate the entire working area below pleasantly evenly and efficiently. Washable metal grease filters effectively remove grease and are easy to wash in the dishwasher. The suction power is mainly determined by the power of the rooftop ventilation fan, the diameter and straightness of the chimney and the supply of replacement air.

All FLEX-models are available with its own motor, rooftop ventilation fan (X1 – AC and EC motors), humid space enhancement (X2 – AC and EC motors) and for apartment buildings with shut-off valve control (X3).

Operating functions

The stylish slide-out cap-integrated Soft Touch buttons are unobtrusive and has a pleasant feel to use. The adjustable timer function (X-models) ensures that even the last steams leave the room when the cooking is finished.

Powerful LED lights illuminate pleasantly and evenly the entire surface below. In addition, the luminaires come standard with a three-stage dimming function (EC-models), which allows you to adjust the lighting to suit the mood and other lighting around the cooker hood.

In the X2 models, the basic ventilation is (and must be) always on, but the collection of steams can be made more efficiently with the help of the different speeds on the switch panel.

Installation

Installing the cooker hood is easy and quick to do with clear instructions and installation pictures. LAPETEK FLEX-X is installed in a baseless upper cabinet, so the end result is as stylish as possible, and the fan sits inconspicuously in the upper cabinet.

LAPETEK FLEX-X cooker hoods are compatible with Vilpen's 230V / 50Hz, top-of-the-line extractor with 1-phase AC / EC motor, or a technically equivalent type of motor. FLEX-X hoods are used directly to remove steam forming in the kitchen, as well as for ventilation carried out with a top vacuum cleaner, not for controlling ventilation machines.
