A gesture control kitchen hood

MINIMAL 1 a new gesture control kitchen hood is available in two different models. You can choose between ready-made black panel or create a personalized look for the kitchen with a custom panel. The MINIMAL 1 ready-made panel model has a fixed black panel that cannot be removed. The MINIMAL 1 frame model also comes with a ready-made black panel, but you can change the look of your kitchen by replacing the pre-made black panel with a custom panel.

You don't need to touch the device, as a simple hand movement is enough to turn the kitchen hood on and off, change the operating mode and adjust the lighting. This way you avoid stains on the surface of the kitchen hood caused by hand contact during cooking. You can also use the remote control that comes with the cooker hood.

Control by hand gesture:

By stopping your hand in front of the kitchen hood for about 2 seconds, you turn on the lighting, and by repeating the same thing, you can turn off the lighting.

By swiping your hand from left to right, the speed mode changes to higher.

By swiping your hand from right to left, you can decrease the speed mode.

You can use the MINIMAL 1 hood’s glass shelf as an additional shelf for storing items such as spice mills or cookbooks. The range hood has a dirt repellent-coating that repels possible stains caused by fingerprints. The motor is quiet and energy efficient, achieving energy class B.

Operating functions

Powerful LED lights illuminate perfectly the entire surface below. The luminaires come standard with a three-stage dimming function and color temperature control, which allows you to adjust the lighting to suit the mood and other lighting around the cooker hood.

The kitchen hood comes with an ecological reactivated Long Life filter with a service life of 36 months.In heavier than normal use the time is shorter and in light use correspondingly longer. In any case, the lifetime is significantly longer compared to disposable filters, which should be changed every 3 to 4 months, depending on use. Activation and cleaning of the Long Life filter is carried out in the dishwasher at a maximum temperature of 65 degrees using normal dishwasher detergent. After washing, the filter is placed in an oven at a maximum temperature of 100 degrees for 10 minutes, after which it is ready to be used again.

Installation

MINIMAL 1 is an island mounted kitchen hood and is installed on the ceiling using bracket pins. The pins have height adjustment.

The black metal pre-made panel included with the MINIMAL 1 frame model is 4 mm thick, but you can also attach panels of different thicknesses and materials to the hood. The panel is attached by gluing it to the painted metal side of the hood. When choosing the adhesive, consider its suitability for the weight of the panel and the materials of both the panel to be glued and the painted metal of the hood.

The dimensions of the pre-made panel are 900 mm x 170 mm x 4 mm for the 90 cm wide model and 1200 mm x 170 mm x 4 mm for the 120 cm wide model.



The kitchen hood is not connected to the chimney, but contains a long-lasting Long life filter, through which the cleaned air flows back in to the room.
