Discreet Lapetek Cooker Hood

When designing a kitchen, the process often starts with cabinetry, its colors, and the overall kitchen style, followed by the selection of household appliances and other essential accessories. Kitchen appliances should complement the kitchen not only in terms of functionality but also in appearance.

The cooker hood is one of the most essential and largest appliances in the kitchen, yet it is not always desirable for it to be prominently visible.

Many modern kitchens are open-concept, integrated with other living spaces, where the goal is to maintain a cozy ambiance and keep appliances as discreet as possible. This is why refrigerators and dishwashers are often concealed behind cabinet doors. A highly discreet cooker hood fits seamlessly into this style.

Lapetek offers a variety of minimalist cooker hood models to suit any kitchen.

A Fully Concealed Cooker Hood

The Lapetek Free 54 is the most discreet cooker hood model, designed to be completely hidden within the cabinetry. It allows the cabinet line to remain continuous, resulting in a sleek and minimalist look.

The hood’s control panel is positioned in a way that eliminates the need to bend over to see and press the correct button. The Soft Touch buttons combine elegance with ease of use. They are illuminated, creating a refined design detail while also improving usability by making them stand out against the frame.

The Lapetek Free 54 is equipped with powerful, evenly illuminating LED lights, providing excellent visibility for cooking. Thanks to the dimming feature, the lighting can be softened once cooking is finished, creating a cozy dining atmosphere. Additionally, the adjustable color temperature feature allows the lighting to be customized to match the kitchen’s ambiance and surrounding lights, ensuring a harmonious and cohesive design.

The Free 54 cooker hood is an excellent choice when the goal is to keep the hood completely out of sight.

Only a Stylish, Minimalist Edge in Sight

Another discreet, beautifully integrated cooker hood model is the Lapetek Trekk, which offers a subtle yet stylish detail in kitchen design. This model is available in two different widths for 50 cm and 60 cm cabinet sizes, and comes in three colors: stainless steel, white, and black.

The cooker hood features a pull-out visor, which activates its functions when extended. The visor’s front panel is available in three colors—white, stainless steel, and black—while the main unit itself is available in either all-white or all-black. This allows you to choose a front panel that best matches your cabinetry, whether you prefer a seamless blend or a contrasting accent.

Like the Free 54, Trekk is equipped with powerful LED lights, operated by an on/off switch. Even when the visor is pushed back in, turning off the hood’s functions, the lights remain on until switched off separately. This ensures the kitchen remains well-lit even when the cooker hood is not in use.

Nearly Invisible, Yet Highly Efficient

Although these cooker hood models blend seamlessly into kitchen cabinetry, they are highly effective in eliminating cooking fumes and maintaining fresh indoor air.

Both models can be installed either as a ducted extraction system or as a recirculating version with an active carbon filter (the active carbon filter must be ordered separately).

Additionally, both models are easy to install with detailed illustrated instructions.
